Visit my office in Kensington, Maryland and receive a personal consultation with the attorney to discuss your desires and needs. (½ hour free initial consultation).

After the documents are completed and payment is made I will send first drafts to your home or office to give you an opportunity to review all documents in the privacy of your own home or office before you visit my office to sign final documents.

After you have reviewed your documents, call for an appointment to visit my office and I will personally review your documents with you. We will make appropriate changes where necessary to assure that the documents meets all your needs and I will assure that all documents are complete and properly executed before you leave my office. If you cannot visit my office, I will discuss documents by telephone or email and provide you with clear written instructions on how to sign, witness and notarize your documents.

Issues Affecting Seniors

Advice and assistance with financial planning and elder care issues. I will work with you and other qualified professionals to obtain suitable senior housing, home care, care managers and financial advisers to fund and manage your long term care needs.

Guardianships

Consultation and assistance including the preparation of petitions to the courts, notice and consultation with all interested parties, attending all hearings, assistance in accounting and reporting requirements and all other legal actions necessary to obtain court appointed guardianships.

Estate Administration

Advice and consultation with family of the deceased, preparation and review of all legal documents required to open the decedent's estate.

Arranging for the appraisal and inventory of estate assets, assistance in arranging for the sale and disposition of all real and personal property estate assets including arranging for the sale of real estate, stocks bonds and other investment assets and the distribution or disposition of personal effects and household goods.

I will work with heirs to allow them to do as many of the tasks of estate administration as they are willing or able to do.
